Yankee Building Movers was contacted on a typical Thursday to lift a historic building in Kittery Maine....and it had to be completed the following week! Luckily we were waiting on another project to get going so we had the time and the experience to get ur done!
Historic Kittery Federal
This project involved lifting a 3 story Federal style home an additional 5 feet to match an addition going on the back of the building. The original movers hired for the job were out-straight and could not accomodate the client until Fall. Meanwhile, the client's carpenter was at a stand still and needed the project to move forward.
More cellar space?
The building already had 8 feet of basement height but to match the addition, it needed another 5 feet.
That's one deep cellar hole!
It's up and ready for the new foundation!
Maybe we should be on that "dirty job" show.....
